Founder and chief executive of the Australian Gold Conference, host of the financial education YouTube channel Making Money Matter and an elite business performance coach, Kerry’s unstoppable dynamic energy is both infectious and effective.

She has created, built and sold companies for more than 30 years, has become a successful property and financial market investor and has intentionally inspired and accidentally motivated tens of thousands of grateful friends, colleagues and strangers.

Her foundations for success are based on the love of constant learning, the joy of serving others, embracing opportunity with a yes (then determining how to do it) and enabling energy to flow through the lifelong practice of moving forward with gratitude.

Born to a distinguished and decorated Captain of the Royal Australian Navy, and a mysterious but firm stage and screen mother, early life was far from simple and luxurious.

Removed from a prestigious school aged 8, her father was falsely found responsible for a collision between an American warship and the aircraft carrier under his command. Life quickly became a family financial and emotional challenge.

Avoiding university for a cadetship in retail, in the era of great department stores, taught style, service and presentation. Kerry’s dream to act led her to New York to study and perform off Broadway, but no break-through roles on television or film.

She married, moved to London and found her first major success running events. Her lack of experience was overwhelmed by her energy and enthusiasm soon leading the world’s key conference for TV news executives. A divorcee and co-parenting an infant son forced her to open her financial-future door, buying under-priced UK property. It’s a door that has been revolving ever since, with dozens now in her Australian portfolio.

The knowledge that Australia’s money was then made from the ground, or what was grown on, could only lead to resources. A joint-venture events company serving miners and investors quickly became a solo operation; two decades later Kerry’s spirit and finesse would dominate precious metals and the most valuable commodity of all. While half the gold mined today is used for jewellery, her business acumen remains focused on mining, refining and bullion – as well as where the industry is going. The 2025 Australian Gold Conference is the 15th to be staged.

A powerful stage presence and inquisitive mind has turned conference speeches from boring videos into long form interviews that add value for companies and insight for investors.
